What was the highlight of Everest Porto Alegre Hotel
Good benefit for the cost
The hotel met my expectations, offering good quality for the price. Nice installations and decoration. The bed is very comfortable, the shower provides high pressure and temperature (though it's very noisy so that I could hear other rooms' showers working). The breakfast is fine, fairly diversified (though some days the loafs were dry), and it is served in the 16th floor, were we have a nice view of the city. It's located in the historical centre, surrounded by restaurants, pharmacies and small markets.
When the curtains are open, the room loses all privacy because there are residencial buildings right in the other side of the street. I asked for a room in the upper floors and with a wide view, but probably that was not available. But that was not really a big issue for me. I would stay at the same hotel next time.

Good cost benefit.
The bed is cozy and the room is large enough for more than 2 people stay comfortably.
The building and most of its facilities look pretty old, however, the hotel (on average) is comfortable and clean.

Good cost-benefit for my needs
Very Efficient check in and check out process, which has been rare to find in Brazil. There was water in the mini fridge at the room, very convenient. The breakfast was at the 16th floor, it was good and there were lots of windows with a very nice views of the city. Very nice for someone that have t been there before or like views as me. Room was clean overall, No carpets and good ventilation in the room which is very important for me. The internet worked very well!
The quality of the bed mattress and sheets could be better. The TV remote control was dirty, should be cleaned when they clean the room. Desk chair was not very comfortable. Cleaning service was good but there are opportunities for improvement.

Comfortable with excellent views
View was really nice from the top floors, rooms have a small balcony, breakfast is on the top floor with extra good view.
Was pretty pissed off that they wanted to hit us up for R$10 when we asked for a fork to eat our takeaways with.
